Mini Boots Haul.

Hey loves, so today I am bringing to you a small boots haul. Recently I went on a shopping trip with my friend and picked up a few bits I wanted to share with you all. I've tried out all of the things I purchased so I'll also be giving you my first impressions on the products.

So the first products that I picked up was the Nyx full coverage concealer in orange. I've been wanting an orange concealer for quite a while because I'd never had one and wanted to delve into the world of colour correcting. For those of you who don't know, the orange/peachy toned colour correctors are used to cover darker pigments on your face, so mostly under the eyes for your dark circles or sometimes around the mouth. I'd definitely recommend this product, although I don't have anything to compare it with as I've never used any other colour corrector I can say that it definitely works wonders for my dark circles and does what it's supposed to do. I use my ring finger to apply the product to my under eye as using your fingers warms up the products and makes it easier to blend into your skin. Your under eye is also a very delicate area so using your ring finger wouldn't put too much pressure on it or make it drag.
The next product I decided to pick up was the Nyx born to glow liquid illuminator. I'd a makeup tutorial a couple of days before going into the store and saw the girl use this product. She mixed it with her foundation and then used it on the high points of her cheeks also to use as a cream highlight. It looked stunning so I knew I had to get my hands on it asap. After mixing it with my foundation multiple times now I can say that I am in love with this product! It makes my skin look so dewy and makes y foundations look so natural on my face. I've only mixed it with the Rimmel wake me up foundation so I'm not too sure as to how it'd work with other foundations, but I'm sure it'd give you the same results. When using it as a highlight I have noticed that you have to blend it in as soon as you apply it to your face. The first couple of times I used it I applied it to both of my cheekbones before blending it in, id recommend blending it in a soon as you apply it as it sort of dries and doesn't blend as easily.

Next I picked up the Loreal lumi magique primer. I'd been hearing quite a bit about this product for some time now and needed to try it out for myself. When you apply it to your skin it doesn't sink in, it forms a very smooth layer on top of your skin which I guess it very good as it protects your pores from absorbing your foundation and clogging up and also allows your foundation to lay smoothly on your skin. It does look slightly white/silver when your apply it to your skin, but its easily covered with your foundation and offers a beautiful glow to your skin.

So I know that I'm super late to his hype but I finally got my hands on it! I've been needing a new concealer for a while and have been reading tons of positive things about the Maybelline fit me concealer and knew I had to get my hands on it. Many people have been saying it's very comparable to the Nars radiant creamy concealer, however I haven't tried that one so I cant give you my thoughts on that comment. However I can say that this concealer is extremely creamy and super easy to blend. I grabbed it in the shade 20 which is a tiny bit lighter than my actual skin tone as I was wanting to use it as a highlight also. This paired with the orange concealer from Nyx have now become my daily "go to's."

So I hope I haven't bored you with the amount of things I had to say about each product, but I didn't want to leave anything out and only give you half a review in case you were thinking of purchasing any of the products. If you have requests for posts you'd like for me to do in the future, I'd appreciate it greatly if you leave a comment and let me know. The next post will be up on Tuesday x
